1. Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Chernoff Legal Services, a California sole proprietorship operated by Frederick Chernoff, a California-licensed immigration attorney (Cal Bar #342412). All legal services are provided by Frederick Chernoff, Esq., personally, under a separate written engagement agreement.

2. What the website offers

Educational content about U.S. Entry Waivers, pricing information, and a contact/consult-booking path to the attorney. Nothing on the website constitutes legal advice.

3. No attorney-client relationship

An attorney-client relationship with Frederick Chernoff, Esq., begins only after a written engagement agreement is signed. Booking a consult or submitting a form does not create that relationship.

4. Fees and payment

Chernoff Legal Services charges a flat service fee. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection filing fee is paid directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and is outside our control. See our pricing page for the current flat fees and accepted payment methods.

5. What we commit to

See our written commitments for the policy that governs (1) the attorney's pre-filing written merit opinion and (2) free re-filing for documentable errors on our end. No outcome is ever guaranteed; the decision to file rests with the client.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not submit false or misleading information through any intake form.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the website.
• Do not impersonate another person when booking a consult or submitting a form.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chernoff Legal Services' aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of this website is limited to the amount you have paid (if any) for use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue rest with the state and federal courts located in California for disputes arising out of or related to your use of this website. Disputes between you and Frederick Chernoff, Esq., as your attorney are governed by the separate written engagement agreement.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the website.
