Fingerprinting

RCMP fingerprinting for your US Entry Waiver.

Every I-192 filing requires an RCMP fingerprint-based criminal-record certificate (Form C-216C) dated within 15 months of the filing. Here's what that means.

What it is

A certified statement from the RCMP confirming the contents (or absence) of your federal criminal record, issued from a digital fingerprint scan taken at an RCMP-accredited agency. U.S. Customs and Border Protection treats the C-216C as authoritative.

Where to book

Book directly with an RCMP-accredited agency near you. We'll guide you to a vendor and stay in touch through the rest of your file. Common Canada-wide options include the Commissionaires, Triton Canada, and other RCMP-accredited agencies.

What it costs

Typical cost: $50–$75 CAD per appointment (RCMP fee plus the accredited agency's fee). You pay the agency directly — this is not part of the Chernoff Legal Services service fee.
